After a long, agonizing process, I fell back on picking a design I've always had an affinity for, which has historical roots. I've contemplated for a long time getting the "Agnus Dei" as a tattoo, but for now it will be glass. This particular design is from The Duomo cathedral, in Florence, Italy. I'm creatively reproducing it in a 15" square, using some differences in order to fit it, but things that aren't a huge diversion from the style of the time. We'll see how well this goes. It's still all pretty simple shapes, and will have none of the detail unless I decide to paint it later, which I may. It won't be a true painted stained glass though, as I won't be able to fire the glass.
